Sprites are FREE to resummon until the season ends — master everything now
Resummons cost 0 Sprite Dust from now until August 20, alongside Sprite Spree Week's double leveling — the biggest mastery push of the season, confirmed in-game.
If you've been putting off mastering your sprites, this is the moment the game just handed you: resummoning lost sprites is completely free — 0 Sprite Dust — from now until the season ends on August 20.

We've confirmed it in-game: every sprite in the collection screen — including Mythics like the Grim Sprite — shows a resummon cost of 0. Lose a sprite in a match, summon it right back, no Dust spent. The screenshot above is from a real collection this morning.
Why this is a big deal
The single biggest tax on mastering sprites has always been the resummon cost: push a rare sprite in risky matches and every loss came out of your Dust pile. That tax is gone for the rest of the season, which means:
- Master aggressively. Take your best sprites into every match. Losing one now costs you nothing but the walk back to the summon pad.
- Your Dust has nowhere better to go. Sprite Dust resets when the season ends — an unspent pile vanishes on August 20. With resummons free, there is genuinely no reason to hoard it.
- This is the last lap for the whole Runners generation. Epic has said this season's sprites retire when Chapter 7 Season 4 arrives. What you master now is what your collection keeps.
The season-end schedule
This free-resummon window runs alongside Sprite Spree Week (August 16–19) — boosted campfire XP, sprites leveling twice as fast, and Lucky Locators to help track down what you're missing. It all leads into the new season on August 20.
Make it count
Open your collection and sort by closest to done — those are the crowns within reach this week. The Hunt board will keep handing you daily targets, and if you're not sure what's worth chasing, ask Dex which families you're closest to finishing.
Free resummons, double leveling, and five days on the clock. Go get your crowns. 🦆
